Fashion Museums - Historical, Economic and Cultural Aspects of Fashion Industry. Opening to Creative Tourism

Abstrakt


Fashion and design affect the different types of industries and economic growth in both developed and developing countries. Activity of many companies is based on new trends and creative ideas of designers. The article presents and analyzes global and Polish fashion market. The genesis and the development of fashion industry in historical perspective was presented, as well as the characteristics of the fashion industry and its impact on the economy.

The rest of the article presents where fashion-related products end up in order to show the next generations both the cultural heritage of individual nations and the changing fashion over the centuries. Fashion museums have great potential for creative tourism, offering tourists the opportunity to actively participate in creative workshops.
